Hey there! I am Samantha Ann and I am so happy you stopped by my Grace Restored page! A little bit about me, I love Jesus! Also, all things rustic, vintage, southern, handlettered and pumpkin spiced! In April 2017, I married the most wonderful man who has really been the major motive behind how my love of these things has now become the inspiration for my new journey – Grace Restored.
We have two wonderful pets; a dog – Grace and cat – Bella who I am totally obsessed with and they both know it! You will be able to find them in plenty of pictures throughout this blog and social media because their curiosity always runs through whatever project I am working on.
I am an Emergency Room nurse and love my job (most days). It’s definitely a tough job but one where I get to be challenged and see something new everyday! It is also a job that has taught me to truly cherish each day that I have been given, to love those around me fully, and to try and have joy in all aspects of life and in every situation.
Of all the titles that could describe me, child of God is my favorite and most important in my life. Jesus is the driving force of all that I do. I know that even though I fail daily he is fully sufficient in all my failures. Even though I am not perfect, I have flaws, I make mistakes, I have bad days, my God loves me. My absolute favorite thing is being able to take a piece of furniture or wood that someone has deemed ugly or trash and make it into something beautiful. I feel like this is a perfect picture of our relationship with Jesus. We are totally and completely unworthy of His love and forgiveness and are so imperfect yet he has still called us to himself. He has restored us with his grace and we are now seen in his image as children of God. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Each day, each blessing is truly a gift that I don’t deserve. I love this beautiful life. It is by no means perfect but my goal is to be as transparent as possible. I hope you all can see into my beautiful, imperfect and messy life.
About Grace Restored
The main goal of Grace Restored is to provide quality, refinished furniture, handcrafted wooden signs and other home crafts that have either come from scraps, unwanted, or damaged goods and now restored to new. Much like we are in Christ. We hope our work inspires their new owners and helps to uplift their souls.
